Terms and Conditions (All Other Transport)

Thank you for choosing Speedway Express by Simms & Co. for your flight transport needs. By booking flight transport services for goods, small cargo packages, legal documents, or jewelry, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
Booking and Payment:
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure flight transport services. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of delivery. Payments will incur a 5% transaction fee if made through Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. Accepted payment methods include Credit card, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.
Cargo Eligibility:
All goods, small cargo packages, legal documents, and jewelry being transported must meet the following criteria:
Goods and small cargo packages: Must be appropriately packaged to withstand the rigors of air transport. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure the cargo meets the airline’s size and weight restrictions.
Legal documents: Must be properly enclosed and secured to avoid damage during transport.
Jewelry: Must be properly insured and securely packed in tamper-proof, hard-sided containers to prevent theft or damage.
Hazardous materials or illegal items are not permitted for transport. All items must comply with applicable laws and airline regulations.
Transport Timing and Delays:
Pickup and delivery times are estimated and subject to change due to factors such as weather, oversold flights, or other unforeseen circumstances. We use STANDBY FLIGHT SERVICES for pet transport unless a confirmed flight is arranged. We cannot be held responsible for existing or unknown health issues, acts of God, or any other unforeseen delays beyond our control. If no person is present at the time of transport or the required paperwork is not in order, the pet may be transported without the customer present, and you will be charged the full transport fee.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Cancellations made within 7 days (Eastern Standard Time) of the scheduled transport will receive a full refund.
Services requested 7 days or less in advance and canceled 72 hours prior to the service date (Eastern Standard Time) will receive a service credit to the customer’s account. This credit may be used within 1 year from the original service request date.
Cancellations requested within 72 hours of the service date will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the total service fee.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled transport will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued. (Rescheduling is possible but will require a new booking and may incur additional charges based on availability and the new schedule.)
Services booked under promotions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled up to 3 months from the original service date.
Late Fees:
Both sender and recipient must be present at the designated meeting location at the agreed-upon time for the pick-up or delivery of cargo. If the customer 20 minutes late from the agreed-upon time, a $100 late fee will be applied and $50 every 20 minutes thereafter.
Cargo Condition:
All cargo must be in good condition and securely packed. The sender is responsible for ensuring that packaging is adequate to prevent damage during transport. If the cargo is deemed improperly packed, damaged, or poses a risk to other goods, it may be refused transport, and you will still be charged the full transport fee. Speedway Express by Simms & Co. will not be liable for damages resulting from improper packaging or issues beyond our control.
Insurance and Liability:
Speedway Express by Simms & Co. offers limited liability for goods, small cargo packages, legal documents, and jewelry during transport. We recommend purchasing insurance for valuable items, including jewelry, at the time of booking. If you require full insurance coverage, please notify us before booking the transport. Additional insurance coverage will be arranged at an extra cost. We are not responsible for any damage due to inadequate packaging or conditions outside our control, including delays, weather, or mechanical failures.
Access and Availability:
You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary documents (such as customs paperwork, import/export documentation, etc.) are in order at the time of pickup. Failure to provide the necessary paperwork may result in a delay or refusal of transport, and you will still be charged the full transport fee.
Meeting Location:
The meeting location for the pickup and delivery of cargo will typically be at the Baggage Claim area, TSA Security Checkpoint, or another designated location at the airport. The sender and recipient must be on time. Curbside service may be available based on airport regulations and availability but is not guaranteed.
Force Majeure:
Neither Speedway Express by Simms & Co. nor the customer will be held responsible for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, flight cancellations, strikes, customs delays, or any other force majeure event.
Photo and Media Consent:
By using Speedway Express by Simms & Co. flight transport services, you consent to any photos taken during the transport process being shared on our website, social media platforms, or promotional materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Agreement:
By confirming your booking with Speedway Express by Simms & Co., you agree to these Terms and Conditions for flight transport services for goods, small cargo packages, legal documents, and jewelry.
