TERMS & CONDITIONS (Animal Transport)

Thank you for choosing Speedway Express by Simms & Co. for your pet transport needs. By using our pet transport services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with the booking.
Pet Age and Certification:
All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to be transported. The individual requesting or arranging the transport certifies that the pet being transported is at least 8 weeks old on or before the transport pick-up date. The person signing this agreement confirms the age of the pet as accurate.
Transport Type:
Pets will be transported in-cabin only. We do not offer cargo transport at the moment. Both the seller and buyer will meet the designated flight nanny at the specified airport location at the agreed-upon times. Transport will be completed via air.
Pet Food and Care:
We will provide food, water, and a travel dipper for your pet during transport unless a specific request is made otherwise. If you prefer to provide food, please prepare a small ziplock bag with your pet’s name and feeding instructions, including meal amounts and frequency.
Muzzle and Aggression:
We will not transport any pet that requires a muzzle or other restrictive devices. Our flight nannies reserve the right to refuse transport of any pet displaying signs of aggression. In such cases, a partial travel fee of $150 will be deducted to cover the flight nanny’s time.
Payment and Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure flight transport services. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of delivery. Payments will incur a 5% transaction fee if made through Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle. Accepted payment methods include Credit card, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle.
Carrier Requirements:
Pets must be able to fit in a soft-sided carrier and weigh no more than 35 lbs. If a pet is denied transport due to incorrect weight disclosure, no refunds will be issued for any fees paid.
Meeting Location and Timing:
All parties involved in the transport process should meet the flight nanny at the designated airport area, which will be communicated through group correspondence. Curbside service for picking up or dropping off pets is optional due to COVID-19. Typical meeting areas include the Baggage Claim or TSA Security Checkpoint.
Pet Condition:
Pets must be clean and odor-free prior to pick-up. If odors persist, the flight nanny has the discretion to deny transport based on airline restrictions. If a pet is denied transport due to poor hygiene, you will be charged for the full transport fee.
Late Fees:
All parties involved must be on time at the airport for pick-up or drop-off. If any party is 20 minutes late after the agreed-upon time, a $100 late fee will apply and $50 for every 20mins thereafter.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 7 days (Eastern Standard Time) of the scheduled transport will receive a full refund of the remaining balance after the non-refundable deposit is deducted.
Services requested 7 days or less in advance and canceled 72 hours prior to the service date (Eastern Standard Time) will receive a service credit to the customer’s account of the remaining balance after the non-refundable deposit is deducted. This credit may be used within 1 year from the original service request date.
Cancellations requested within 72 hours of the service date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the of the remaining balance after the non-refundable deposit is deducted.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled transport will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued. (Rescheduling is possible but will require a new booking and may incur additional charges based on availability and the new schedule.)
Services booked under promotions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled up to 3 months from the original service date.

Scheduling and Transport Risks:
Pickup and delivery times are estimated and subject to change due to factors such as weather, oversold flights, or other unforeseen circumstances. We use STANDBY FLIGHT SERVICES for pet transport unless a confirmed flight is arranged. We cannot be held responsible for existing or unknown health issues, acts of God, or any other unforeseen delays beyond our control. If no person is present at the time of transport or the required paperwork is not in order, the pet may be transported without the customer present, and you will be charged the full transport fee.
Partial Travel Fee for Nanny's Time:
In the event that the transport is canceled or rescheduled after the nanny has already been assigned or has begun travel preparations, a partial travel fee of $250 will be deducted to cover the flight nanny’s time.
Photo and Media Consent:
All photos taken during the transport may be posted on Speedway Express by Simms & Co.'s website and social media platforms for promotional purposes.

By booking transport services with Speedway Express by Simms & Co., you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
